Carl is the founder of Eco Japan, which supplies Hotels & Resorts with environmentally friendly amenities while encouraging the elimination of single use plastics and providing clients with GREEN solution consulting. On a volunteer level Carl leads the NPO CHURAMURA – an Ocean Conservation Agency focusing on Sea Turtle habitats and beach cleaning operations.Carl is Managing Director of non-profit Okinawa Coastal Protection Alliance(OCPA) which coordinates prefecture wide efforts in marine conservation focusing on saving the Endangered Sea Turtles through a volunteer organization called CHURAMURA.Carl has been an active member of AmCham Okinawa since 2010, Governor and Chairman of two committees, Tourism & Hospitality Committee and also the Sustainability Committee.Memberships:Australian & New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Japan (ANZCCJ), Yomitan Chamber of Commerce, Yomitan Tourism Association, GreenGlobe, Japan Sea Turtle Association.
